User Profile Match Instructions and Help File
The User Profile Match portion of ProMatch is the most in-depth and
feature rich part of ProMatch. This instruction file will go into detail and
explain some of the more hard to understand portions. WARNING: YOUR REAL NAME
WILL BE PUT INTO YOUR PROFILE AND OTHER USERS CAN VIEW IT!
1 - Enter Your Profile : You must enter your profile before you can scan or
quickscan other profiles. It will start with a number of basic questions
such as your general appearance and preferences. After these basic
questions your will be asked 5 questions each of the following categories:
Cultural, General and if you're allowed Adult. Next will come a 28
question Personality Test. You give a value to the letter A and B depending
on how it describes you. The value shouldn't exceed 5 for both. Here's
a detailed explanation of the Personality codes : T F I E S N
INTROVERT (Code Letter I ):
* Like quiet for concentration
* Tend to be careful with details
* Have trouble remembering names and faces
* Can work on a project uninterruptedly
* Interested in the idea behind the Job
* Dislike telephone interruptions
* Think before acting, may procrastinate
* Work contentedly alone
* May have some problems communicating
EXTROVERT (Code Letter E ):
* Like variety and action
* Dislike complicated procedures
* Good at greeting people
* Impatient with long, slow jobs
* Interested in results; getting the job done
* Do not mind telephone interruptions
* Act quickly, sometimes without thinking
* Like to have people around
* Usually communicate well
INTUITIVE (Code Letter N ):
* Like solving new problems
* Dislike doing the same thing over again
* Enjoy learning new skill more than using it
* Work in spurts with slack periods
* Frequently jump to conclusions
* Patient with complicated situations
* Impatient with routine details
* Follow good or bad inspirations
* Tend to make errors of fact
* Dislike taking time for precision work
SENSITIVE (Code Letter S ):
* Dislike new problems unless there are standard procedures to solve them
* Like an established routine
* Enjoy using skills already learned more then learning new ones
* Work steadily knowing how long it will take a complete a project
* Usually work all the way through a project to reach a conclusion
* Impatient when the details get complicated
* Patient with routine details
* Rarely trust inspirations
* Seldom make errors of fact
* Good at precise work
THINKER (Code Letter T ):
* May hurt people's feelings without knowing it
* Like analysis and putting things in order
* Tend to decide impersonally
* Ignore people's wishes
* Need to be treated fairly
* Able to reprimand and fire
* Tend to relate well to other thinker types
* May seem hard-hearted
FEELER (Code Letter F ):
* Aware of other's feelings
* Enjoy pleasing others
* Disturbed by office feuds
* Decisions influenced by likes/dislikes
* Need occasional praise
* Dislike telling others unpleasant things
* Relate well to most people
* Tend to be sympathetic/empathetic
So for example if your Personality profile is IST then you are an Introvert,
Sensitive and thinker. Conversely, other users profiles have this type of
code and you can refer back to this file if you have any questions on what
the codes mean.
Next will be the 110 question "purity test". WARNING: SOME OF THESE QUESTIONS
MAY BE OFFENSIVE TO SOME. IF YOU'RE EASILY OFFENDED DON'T TAKE THE PROFILE.
You may then upload a graphics file of yourself.
You will have a chance to save or abort your profile when done.
2 - Scan Profiles : This will give you a detailed scan of other user profiles.
Most is self explanatory; notice particularly though the part where it says
They match YOUR profile by a certain percent and you match THEIR profile by a
certain percent. You can view the questionaires (cultural, general and adult)
and download any graphics file attach.
3 - QuickScan Profiles : This will give you a one line short description and
percent match for a user. This is helpful when there are quite a few
User Profiles and by noting the R#. (record number) in the QuickScan Profiles
you can quickly do a detailed scan by the record number.
4 - Delete your Profile : This will Delete your profile

6 - Quit to Main : This will take you back to the main menu.
